George Mbwando once played for Zimbabwe Warriors under the late coach Rahman Gumbo and he has shared memories.
Mbwando played his club football in Germany for Alemannia and he is regarded as a legend at the club.
He is well known for his hard tackles and the most famous one, he did during DFB Pokal Final vs Werder Bremen.

The famous tackle he did in the 78th minute vs Bremen, helped the team to overturn the result from 2-1 to 2-3.
George was part of the first Zimbabwe team to qualify for the 2004 AFCON games with the likes of the great Peter Ndlovu.

The passing away of Rhaman Gumbo shocked most of the former players because he was said to be fit and strong.
