    The veteran actor was born in KwaZulu Natal where he grew up from. Come the 2nd of April 2023, Muzi will be 46 years old. Muzi is a devoted Catholic who didn’t want to miss Sunday Mass nomatter the cause. As a young boy, his only dream was to become a Catholic priest, only for this dream to be shut when he fell in love with the show business. Unfortunately, Muzi then left the Catholic Church but he said that he now misses the Catholic songs.

    Growing up, Muzi lived with her mother after his father went away until he was 12 years. When he linked up with his father, Muzi said that he learnt a lot from him and that helped him so much in being a man he is today.

    The veteran star, had been married to his wife Zanele for many years now. The couple got blessed with two daughters whom Muzi is so pationate about being their perfect father. Speaking of his children, Muzi said:

    “I’d like to think of myself as a strict father, but I’ve also noticed that my daughters have a way of getting away with a lot,” declares Muzi.

    All his life, Muzi stayed with her mother and he is still staying with her at his house. Not much is now known of his distant father whether he is still alive or not, however he still remembers memories about his grandfather who used to give him nicknames with his siblings and cousins.

    Being a family man he is, Muzi has got a number of cousins and uncles including Muzi, who his grandfather used to call Shaka because of his height.

    The veteran actor is a role model to any young South African who is fighting alcohol abuse. He said it all stated with little alcohol until he became an addict who abused alcohol. Thank God, he managed to fight alcoholism and now he is free of it. He is indeed a testament that whatever situation you are in, you can still make it in life and become a great person one day.

    After finishing his primary and secondary education, Muzi enrolled and graduated with a diploma in postproduction and editing at the University of KwaZulu Natal.

    With a career dating back in time, Muzi is now one of the most respected male actors in South Africa.

    Ever since his debut, he has appeared in many television shows. He was cast as Pangaman in the first season of Ashes to Ashes. He played the role of a guest trainer in the third season of BootCamp Mzansi- Celebrity Edition.

    Muzi was a voiceover artist in Season 1 of Cishe Ngafa and season 2 of Dream World, he played the role of Dan. He was cast as Richard in the first season of Harvest.

    From the first season of Isibaya through the eighth, he was cast as Duma Ngema. Gagashe was the character he portrayed in season one of Isidingo.

    He was the man behind the role of Muzi Ka Chibi Mthabela who was Mbali’s date in season 3 of Jacob’s Cross. He appeared in Season 1 of Loxion Lyric as William.

    Other roles he played include; Richard in Muvhango, Isaac in Ring of Lies, Samuel in Saints and Sinners, Sergeant Nhleko in Sokhulu, and Partners.

    He was cast in Tempy Pushas as Executor and The Road as the Mayor. Muzi also played a role in Zaziwa, appearing in season 3. As of 2023, Muzi is a lead actor in Generations: The Legacy with the role of Nkosiyabo Cele.

    Since joining Generations, Muzi grew to be one of the main actors, which guaranteed him a big salary of around R30 000 and R40 000. His net worth is estimated at R4 million as of 2023.
