Reasons behind DJ Ollah 7’s Star FM resignation revealed. The award-winning radio host is topping trends after he resigned from Star FM after 11 years with the station.
The radio host made the announcement on 13 November 2023. However, in the backdrop of the news, the station has since issued an official statement regarding his resignation.

REASONS BEHIND DJ OLLAH 7’S STAR FM RESIGNATION REVEALED
Taking to social media in a statement, the station said: “The Star FM Management wishes to advise all its stakeholders that Owen Madondo, popularly known as DJ Ollah 7, has resigned as a Producer/Presenter within the Zimpapers Radio Broadcasting Division, effective 13 November 2023.”
“DJ Ollah 7 served as one of the pioneers since the inception of Star FM in June 2012. During his time with the station, he won several awards, including Best Male Radio Personality at the NAMA 2023 edition.”
“He hosted various shows, including the After Drive with his popular interviews (On The Spot). Management takes this opportunity to express its gratitude for his contribution towards the growth of the Star FM brand and wish him well in his future endeavours.”

However, his eleventh-hour has since set social media abuzz as Zimbabweans try to connect the dots on why he resigned.
From the statement, many were more than convinced that it was a mutual separation. Some were more than convinced that he was spreading his wings.
On the other hand, DJ Ollah 7 made it known that he was working on something big. He went on to reveal that he would issue a media statement in the backdrop of his resignation.
