The news of the death of former Zimbabwean Warriors coach Rahman Gumbo left Zimbabwe in tears.

Rahman Gumbo remains one of the finest coaches Zimbabwe has ever produced.

He was a fine player and one of the most respected Highlanders legends.

After playing, Rahman Gumbo coached many local teams like FC Platinum and Chicken Inn.

He also coached foreign clubs like Sua Flamingos and Moropule Wanderers.

With most of his latest jobs being outside the country, most Zimbabweans had lost touch with Rahman and hearing of his death shocked them.

One fan responded on Instagram, showing how hurt they were, after Zim Celebz shared the news.

FORMER ZIMBABWEAN WARRIORS COACH RAHMAN GUMBO DIE

Rahman Gumbo was sacked by Moropule Wanderers only a few days ago, and it seemed he could not take it well.

Even though the cause of his death is not yet confirmed, many suspect a heart attack as he did not show any illness.

Zim Celebs confirmed the death of the former Zimbabwean Warriors coach Rahman Gumbo.

“Rahman Gumbo, the renowned Highlanders legend and former Zimbabwe national team coach, sadly passed away at 59. Gumbo tragically collapsed at his residence in Palapye, Botswana on Thursday, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his condition at a hospital in Francistown late Friday. Prior to his untimely passing, Gumbo held the position of coach at Morupule Wanderers in Botswana.” they said.
