Social media was set ablaze after news of Charles, and Miracle Pogue’s marriage flooded social media. The two met in 2019. By that time, Miracle was doubling at a launderette. However, the two quickly fell in love. Despite being deeply in love, their age difference was a huge stumbling block.

Of interest is the fact that Charles happens to be older than Miracle’s mother and grandfather. The two did not have a problem with the marriage. Well, Miracle’s father had severe reservations. After all, the retired real estate agent and nurse are now married and are looking forward to having children through IVF.

Wonders never cease to amaze a  24-year-old woman from Starkville, Mississippi tied the knot to a married 85-year-old man. What comes as a shocker is that the husband happens to be older than her grandfather, who is 72 years old. Reports show that the retired real estate agent finally proposed to the nurse in February 2020. The two then walked down the aisle and planned to have children.

What is said about their marriage

“Charles used to bring in one item of clothing and only wanted me to serve him. “One day, he waltzed in there, threw a piece of paper down, and said, write down your number, like he was a player. He was my knight in shining armour.”

The 24-year-old women revealed that they have always had good vibes and priceless moments that made her think otherwise despite having a backlash from society. She has it that he has never made her feel uncomfortable.

“I knew he was older, but I didn’t know his age exactly.”

However, the big problem is that Charles is childless but is eager to leave behind a new generation. They are interested in starting a family through the  IVF option. Miracle has it that her mother, Tamika Phillips, 45 and grandfather, Joe Brown, were supportive of the relationship from the start after seeing how happy the pensioner made her. Her dad, Kareem Phillips, 47, was harder to convince.
