Zodwa’s husband and how it changed her life for the better

The actress has it that she was abused for nine years. At some point in time, she walked away since she could not take it anymore. In some of her interviews, she has made it known that her children encouraged her to leave, and that singular decision became the best decision she has made so far in her entire life. Reviving her painful marital life, Zodwa said:

“I had to go back home to Sgodiphola in Soweto with nothing to offer my children. He had the money; all I knew was to give birth and stay home. Sometimes you need to walk away from situations that do not serve you and learn to start over again. Look at me now – telling amazing stories and making the country laugh.”

In the wake of her horrid marriage, many questions about her love life and previous marriages have often been asked. At the age of 19 years, she already had two kids. Reports have it that she did not even complete school because of this. Currently, she is a mother of seven.

In recent years, she has opened up about the abuse she also suffered while staying with her fifth child’s father. However, the actress got married with five children from previous relationships with different men. Having children from earlier relationships does not mean you don’t deserve to be happily married.
