Harare was at a standstill when business was halted in the other part of the capital. A man was spotted at one of the top buildings along Tanganyika House along 3rd street. The man attempted suicide whilst he jumped off the building. He has it that he was claiming that someone was burning him with fire.
However, in the mix of things, he survived. The man who jumped off Tanganyika House along 3rd street in Harare received immediate medical attention before he was rushed to a hospital. Luckily, he was given first aid at the scene before being rushed to one of the local hospitals for medical attention. The incident happened barely after a 37-year-old Bulawayo woman was halted before the courts after he was charged with attempted murder.
Chipo Mvundura Sibanda appeared before Bulawayo Regional Magistrate Sibongile Msipa-Marondedze at Western Commonage Court. Reports have it that she allegedly poured boiling water on her husband during a domestic dispute at the family home in the Entumbane suburb. However she was remanded in custody.
Court heard recently that Sibanda severely scalded Kenneth Jeti, 45, with boiling water when the latter questioned his wife on where she had spent the day. According to court papers, the altercation happened on the 30th of January, 2023, at around 0520 hours.
