Zama Magubane is a celebrated South African who stars as Madongwe on the SABC drama series Uzalo. She stars as a devoted Christian who happens to be Mbatha’s ex-wife. The 39-year-old actress was born in Madadeni, Newcastle. She grew up in Pietermaritzburg, Kwazulu Natal. Her shot to fame came in the backdrop of her on-screen character on Uzalo. However, she bounced on small screens after being part of the Presenter Search on SABC3 and Isehlukaniso.

Paballo Mavundla is a fast-rising actor born in 1999 in Meadowlands, South-Western Soweto, in Gauteng Province. Since then, she has been winning big. She holds a Drama and Performing Arts degree from Durban University of Technology (DUT) to cap her unmatched acting flair. However, in recent years she has been allegedly rumoured to be Paballo Mavundla’s mother.

He had his fair shot at fame with his on-screen character in the supernatural drama The Herd. However, this was after a string of failed attempts. He played the on-screen character of the naughty and rebellious teen, Nkosana. After his exit, he saw himself part of the star-studded cast of Generations, where he starred as Jerah Moroka before switching his on-screen character with a lead role in House Of Zwide as Sandile.

The two have been rumoured to be related in real life, and their striking similarities have opened a can of worms. A rumour mill has recently said he is Madongwe’s son.

After all, it seems as if it’s just striking resemblances. Madongwe was born and raised in KwaZulu-Natal until she was thrust into the limelight, whilst on the other hand, Paballo was born and raised in Meadowlands, South-Western Soweto, in Gauteng Province.

Also of interest is that Madongwe once indicated that she keeps her private life under wraps but did let Mzansi know that she has young kids. The two only seem to have striking resemblances, and Madongwe and Jerah haven’t openly admitted that they are related.
